An Afternoon at the Orchard

Fall. A beautiful time with beautiful sights to see. This wonderful change in season brings us one of nature’s sweetest treats – apples! And here in Minnesota, it’s orchard time.

Who can resist a sweet, crisp apple?

Where To

So, on a cloudy Saturday in September, my son and I embarked on a mini-road trip across town. Our destination? The apple orchard!

A good old-fashioned barn country store.

Pine Tree Apple Orchard is a family-owned business located in White Bear Lake. It boasts 300 acres of strawberries and apple trees, as well as pumpkins and corn for their corn maze. They offer produce, merchandise, and fun fall activities for all ages.

Apples Galore

We arrived to a bustle of people excited to explore. Strolling through orchard paths while listening to live music…marvelous! Seeing the apples up close and personal in such abundance was awesome.

The perfect gift from above.
Wear some sneakers for the walking paths.
Special Event: Wine and food tasting on the waterfront.

We also visited their country store which featured tons of produce-related merchandise. From fresh picked fruit to tea, syrup, and honey, it was truly apple heaven! Savoring some apple donuts while enjoying the sights and sounds sure hit the spot.

Adorable apple linens.
Get your sweet tooth ready.
Plenty of outdoor seating for all.
